The American Fireglass Premium Collection is basically the same as the Classic Collection, but with an added twist. It is manufactured to the same high specification and from the same materials but during the manufacturing process, one surface of the Fire Glass is mirrored. In your fireplace or fire pit, this mirrored surface amplifies the reflections of the flames and colors to stunning effect.  American Fireglass has also pre-mixed complimentary colors to stunning effect.

What is the difference? Well, the 1/4 inch fire glass is the preferred size for indoor, vented fireplace where as the 1/2 inch fire glass is particularly good in large fireplaces, fire pits and fire features.
Fireglass Quantity:
To determine the amount of fire glass you will need, please refer to the tables (images) in the main photo gallery.  The tables provide estimated quantities of fire glass for rectangular and round fire pits of varying sizes. ​​​The quantities are calculated based on a depth of  2" of fire glass.
Fireglass Applications:
American Fireglass can be used with either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane, and can be utilized in vented indoor fireplaces, outdoor fire pits and fire features.
