    Description

If you have to replace the Ambac Model M-50 or American Bosch PSU diesel injection pump on your Onan powered MEP-002a or MEP-003a generator set or on another Onan DJB, DJC, DJE, or DJF Diesel Engine, you need this mounting kit to do a proper installation.  It includes the set of timing buttons
except for the number 6 button
, a set of four mounting shims, the o-ring that seals the pump to the engine block to prevent oil from leaking out, the important "geesus circlip" (that seems to always go flying across the shop when removing the original timing button from the old pump) and, of course, the instructions explaining how to use all this stuff.  Some of the instruction sheets appear to be third or even forth generation photocopies and may be tough to read.  If this is the case, I can email a pdf.
On the missing #6 button:  I have installed a lot of pumps on these generator sets and have never needed a #6 timing button.  Seems like the ones that I used most were 11, 12, 13, 14, and occasionally a 15.
I have reduced the price to reflect the missing button
    .
NOTE:  After close inspection of some of the kits, I noticed that some of the shims in some of the kits have surface rust on them.  This does not affect the function, as they are not supposed to seal the joint.  Scotch-brite should take the rust off.
If you have to change injector pumps, you have to set the injector timing with the included timing buttons.  The new pump will not come with a timing button and odds are against the button from the old pump being the correct one for your combination of new pump and old engine.
List price from Onan is about 00.  The 15 timing buttons themselves cost
    EACH
    from Ambac.
Yeah, I fell out of my chair too, when I found that out.
I got a deal and am passing on the savings.
Free Domestic USA shipping via First Class mail.
If I receive payment in time, I will do my best to get it mailed the same day.
If you just want a timing button, I also sell them individually.  Check my other listings.
The advantage to having the entire kit is that from now on you will always have the correct timing button for your unit no matter how many times you need a new pump.
