Very impressive content to this letter:
Mr. Risien is writing to a merchant in
Galveston , Texas.
He is requesting prices on sash, doors, window and door frames.  At the end of the letter it says, "P.S.  You will perhaps remember me working for you in 1867 at the time of the great flood in Galveston."
Apparently, these hurricanes and such, were taking place long before the great hurricane of the year 1900 (which killed thousands).
This letterhead is in very good condition with normal letter folds.
