This is a
BILLHEAD,
and it is from
W. A. CALFEE
( dealer in hardware stoves tinware cooking utensils crockery glassware mechanics tools etc. ) in
WAXAHACHIE, TEXAS
IN THE YEAR 1898.  This vignette on the upper left corner shows a key, a gun, a lock, a lock and key, possible handcuffs, door handle, a latch, etc.  Hand written on the billhead is "Dec. 3, to work on flue. ( Gammen House ) 50 (meaning cents). "  Top left is hand written "J. W. Ferris"..   this billhead had to do with paying the final bills of J. W. Ferris' estate not long after he passed away.
W. A. CALFEE
signed the front of this billhead in pencil and he signed the back of this billhead with a fountain pen.
CONDITION:
This billhead has normal letter folds, minor flaws, toning on the back,  sold AS IS.  The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to this item that is for sale.
