    At the top of this letter, under the words:
    "THE JOURNAL", it quotes:
    "The only paper in Arlington. Arlington has 1500 residents."
    This 1 page-partial letter is hand written and

    Historical Notes:
    The first newspaper published in Arlington,
    The Arlington Journal
    documents the city of Arlington, its people, and its institutions, including editorial comment and news reports that illustrate the city and its residents. The
    Journal
    began publication in
    1897 and, in 1957.
    Eventually it merged with the
    Arlington Citizen
    to become the
    Arlington Citizen Journal.
    Condition:
    It is in GOOD condition with normal letter folds and a few small clip holes at the top center area.    The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper and is NOT attached to the letterhead.
