The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads 1898 and the reverse text is Alaska Gold One Pinch. The front side of the coin shows the bust of a Native American facing the right side of the token with 16 stars surrounding on an octagon coin.
The backside of the coin depicts a closed wreath with 3 lines of text in the center, the top line being curved and the remaining two lines being straight, a rope or beaded border surrounds the coin.
