THE ORDER OF M. GOLDWATER & BROS from A.A. JOHNS. This was Morris Goldwater's store in Prescott and father of Barry Goldwater. A.A. JOHNS was the Undersheriff of Yavapai County in 1898 to 1902. Also was Chief of Prescott Fire
Department from 1901 to 1915. Johns was also a big Arizona business man and
Speaker of the House- Third State Legislature.
Prescott
National Bank was the first bank in Arizona Territory. Nice revenue stamp and Goldwater back stamp.
Check is 8 1/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches.
