from Lisbon, 18th Century.
Herewith we present you a very rare
Antique Portuguese Sterling Silver Tea Pot
, presumably from late 18th Century, Lisbon. This fabulous Tea Pot is finely decorated with hand chased and engraved Rococo style massive ornamentation on clean surface, featuring scrolling foliage in boldly beautiful composition. The lid has classic cast finial on top, and the handle is elegant mahogany with unique shape. It stands on four ball-shaped feet. Elegant hand-engraved initial M on a side.

is excellent for use but also a fabulous piece for display - with its historical value, well-defined design and exotic beauty, it would make a stunning addition to both traditional and modern interiors.
Hallmarked
Portuguese Solid Silver Guarantee
mark of city of Lisbon, used 1690-1887. Maker's mark A.O. and a Zig zag mark, which were used in several countries in Europe and America at the time, we could not find the exact reference for this particular mark.

7.9 inch (20 cm) tall x 10.6 inch (27 cm) wide with handle, weight 978 grams.
Excellent Estate Condition
! Considering its age, this Tea Pot is in extremely well condition. Some age-related normal scratch marks and a few dimple-like micro dents here and there. Otherwise in excellent shape, ready to use or display. Please refer the detail photos I added.
