This letter is hand written and signed by
S. C. VAUGHN
In the letter, Vaughn corresponds with Zac Smith of Bonham, Texas.  Smith was the owner of an extinct very old hardware store in Bonham.  The correspondence is about the purchasing (bidding) of school land in the nearby Sierra Blanca and railroad areas. Vaughn describes the land and some of the circumstances to purchase it

Condition:
Normal letter folds, some toning stains,  tattered edges, top of 2nd page is torn off, still decent condition
The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to the letterhead
The size of this letter is
8 1/2" X 10" .
Condition:
It has some toning and a small hole middle near bottom margin.  One flaw at left bottom corner and very slight tear middle bottom but in very good condition.
