    This sale is for a 2 page hand written rare LETTER from S. C. Vaughn at Sierra Blanca, Texas in the year 1908.
    In the letter, Vaughn corresponds with Zac Smith of Bonham, Texas.  Smith was the owner of an extinct very old hardware store in Bonham.  The correspondence is about the purchasing (bidding) of school land in the nearby Sierra Blanca and railroad areas. Vaughn describes the land and some of the circumstances to purchase it.
    It's condition: Normal letter folds, some toning stains,  tattered edges, top of 2nd page is torn off, still decent condition.
    This letter is hand written and signed by S. C. VAUGHN.
    8 1/2" X 10" in size.   Sold AS IS.
    The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to the letterhead.
