    Description

1909 Gold Alaska-Yukon Washington Pacific Exposition Gold 1/2 DWT. Hart's Coins of the West. Using Alaska Gold, these coins were minted in One Dime Wt., 1/2 Dime Wt., and 1/4 Dime Wt. This coin variety AMRH-12 per the MEHart website with a R5 rarity are becoming increasingly sought after.  A MS graded coin was noted in Nov 2018 by PCGS as having sold at auction by Stack's Bowers for 8.00. (lot #91399). They have a Breen-Gillio Rarity rating of R5 on a scale of R1 to R8 with R8 being unique. The interested buyer would be advised to view current offers and listings ranging between 0 and 0 + and make their adjustment for the consideration of the jewelry mar and the relative rarity of this coin and its increasing popularity to bid; the listed starting price is however a firm starting bid.  The coin pictured is the coin being bid for and I would be happy to respond to questions.
