This is a PROMISSORY NOTE from the year 1917 and is from the CITIZENS STATE BANK OF FROST, TEXAS.  The promise is to pay W. R. Phillips .00.  This item is signed by CARL YOUNG.  The back is very clean.  The front has an affixed 2 cent REVENUE STAMP.
