    Description

    Here we have
    a delightful self-published chapbook of sorts -- a 14 page booklet entitled
    The Christmas Book
written and self-published by Dr. Edwin Smith Coombe, dated 1939. Numbered No. 7 of a "Limited Edition." A sweet, passionate and compassionate slice-of-life from middle America during dark times, printed for friends, families, and probably patients and their families.
Please see our store for more delightful vintage and antique ephemera and Christmas pieces -- we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.

    Condition
: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please enlarge and zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Overall excellent very-vintage condition. Very clean and fresh for its age. Light to moderate shelf wear. Tightly bound by staples. Nice and flat, with no curling, rippling, or wrinkling. A few tiny splash stains on upper right cover (pointed out with arrows in picture.) No other stains, and no marks, writing (other than the author's inscription/signature), tears, holes, creased pages. Solid, stable booklet has been stored nicely within a clean home. Has never seen an attic, barn or moldy basement.
We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (
    or anything else
) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
    We're happy to
combine shipping at actual cost on all pieces
    purchased and paid for
    on one single invoice/order.
In order to take advantage of this shipping cost savings, you must, must, must combine all of your pieces into one order and pay for all of them at once.
The easiest way to do this is to place items in your cart, and then to purchase them as a group from your cart.
If you're unable to get the Ebay checkout to combine your items into one order, do not pay. Back out of that mess and shoot us a message instead, asking for a combined invoice, and then wait to pay from that.
    The Fine Print:
We expect payment within 1 day of purchase. If you're waiting for other auctions to end so that you can combine shipping, shoot us a message to let us know.
If you're unable to pay within terms, please reach out with your Plan B. Things happen. Especially these days. So just shoot us a message.
We don't accept buyer-remorse returns but we will grant you the use of our description and photos so that you can re-ebay the item yourself.
Although we don't accept buyer-remorse returns, reach out if you're unhappy with your purchase! If we messed up -- everybody does -- give us a chance to fix it. We promise it was unintentional, and we'll do what we can to make it right.
