1949 MAP BROCHURE ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY GARDENS REGENT PARK LONDON

Description

Offered is a c.1949 8 panel brochure and map issued by the Zoological Society of London. It features a charming colorful birds eye view map of the Zoo in Regent Park drawn by artist J.P. Sayer. Two other panels have more specific location details ( key to plan) accompanied by a more rudimentary, schematic map. The cover graphics of various animals is quite appealing. General information about the zoo is also provided. The year estimate for this brochure is based on a “code” printed on it which reads: “2/49 200,000 GRD.”
Size: 5.25" X 8"
Condition: Very good, with tiny (less than 1/4 inch) separation at bottom of center fold and a small loss with discoloration on the white edge on the right bottom corner of the front cover.
