Israel Medals 1978 Bar-Mitzvah (3 pieces) in set -Gold + Silver + Bronze Original 1978 “Bar-Mitzvah" set of three statemedals issued by Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation. This set iscomposed of: a solid gold medal, 30mm, .750fineness, 15 grams, .3671 AGW; a solid silver medal, 37mm, .935 fineness, 26 grams,.7817 ASW; and, a solid bronze medal, 59mm, 100 grams. Condition: all medals are in mint state with original case, no certificate. The gold and silver medals have not been affected by the plastic as is typical of these sets. The bronze medal shows a bit of residue from the plastic cover. Obverse: A figure of a young man putting on Tefillin and the verse "At 13 for fulfillment of the mitzvoth" (Ethics of the Fathers V:24) in Hebrew and English. Reverse: State of Israel emblem and the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Immediate payment is required after the winning bid. All sales are subject to applicable sales tax.
