We are selling a 2-pack of Baluns, for Video Surveillance Camera installations.
These Baluns allow a video camera to be fed over a single-pair of copper wire - Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6, or higher.
We are paying for the shipping, within Continental USA.
The BNC end of the Balun connects to the camera, and the screw terminals connect to one-pair of copper wire.
Makes installation significantly easier... use Cat 5 / 5e etc cable, to provide power to the camera, and to send the video signal from the camera back to the DVR system.
To install:
- slide off the back of the Balun, fitting a bare-ended single-pair of copper wires from a Cat 5 / Cat 5e (or higher) cable into the slots provided, and onto the screw terminals.
- tighten the screw terminals with a mini flat-head screwdriver (not included)
- ensure the copper wires are tightly fastened, then return the sliding back to the top of the Balun
- connect the BNC connector on the other end of the Balun to the video camera
- that's it !
