    This part is
    so
hard to find!  Egad!  What to do?  Lucky for you - we've got replacements!  These aftermarket circuit breakers are made by the same manufacturer that made them for Porter Cable and DeWalt, although both companies did use various manufacturers over the years.  This replacement is made by TE - one of the largest manufacturers in the world.
We buy them in bulk directly from the manufacturer and pass the savings onto you.  What a deal!
Do you have a bad Circuit Breaker?
On the Porter Cable and DeWalt models, the circuit breakers protect the outlets.  When the breaker trips or fails, it removes power from only the outlet that it is protecting.  On some models, the duplex outlets were split - one outlet was protected by one breaker while the other side was protected by a second breaker.
Usually, the first sign of a circuit breaker going bad is intermittent voltage or "nuisance tripping".  Sometimes, the power will "cycle" on and off as the contacts inside the breaker make and break intermittently.  As the failure progresses, the voltage eventually disappears for good.  Sometimes, the breakers fail in such a manner that they will not reset (the button won't stay in when pushed).  Other times, resetting them will not re-establish output voltage (because the internal contacts are damaged).
Fortunately, they are very easy to test:  First, disconnect the wire going to one of the terminals of the breaker.  Using a continuity meter or ohm meter, check from terminal to terminal on the Circuit Breaker - you should see very low resistance (< 1 ohm) or continuity.  An open circuit or resistance higher than 1 ohm indicates open or damaged contacts.
Please, no international shipments.  US & Canada only.  We make every effort to get Priority Mail shipments out the same day, but orders placed late in the afternoon may not go until the next day (we are pretty far from the Post Office).  We can only offer free shipping to the US - however, we've reduced the shipping cost to Canada by the same amount.
Upon receiving the unit, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us immediately.  We strive to keep our rating superior!
