ANTIQUE CARMINE ESTEX INK BOTTLE WITH LABEL SCRIPTEX INK & PASTE CO PHILADELPHIA, PA
This is a hard-to-find antique ink bottle with label and top cap that probably dates to the early 1900's. Vintage 16 oz. clear glass bottle has a nice full label on the front that advertises for Carmine Estex Ink from the Scriptex Ink & Paste Company out of Philadelphia, PA. Looks like this used to have a red colored ink inside as seen at the base of the bottle. Bottle has the screw-on lid kn top as well. Bottle is in great condition overall for its age with just some light natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures 8" tall to top of the lid by 3" in diameter at the base. Wonderful and rare old Scriptex ink bottle with label would be a great display piece for your collection. Don't miss it.
