ANTIQUE CHINESE EARLY QING NEPHRITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE VASE NICELY CARVED

Description

Beautiful jade snuff bottle in a very elegant form. The carving is very delicate, detailed and masterful, which looks very soothing to the eyes.
Lid is after market.
The bottle is well hollowed in side, which makes the wall thin like glass bottle, unlike some were drilled simply a straight hole to the bottom. The neck part is a bit not as smooth, not sure if it was polished later or it was not polish well when it was made. The jade appears to have a few tight natural fissures or veins. Color is grayish white with a hue of light green. Photos number 3, 5, 6 looks close to the actual color, photo 7 straightly under the light, photo 12 was taken with the light behind and the color looks just the same to me. Color effect may varies a bit from one monitor to another. It looks to have carried a layer of patina from being handled through generations, a good and careful cleaning may help bring back its true color.
