  • Condition: Excellent condition with light signs of age and light use including surface scratches, possible minor dings or dents including a dent on the spout (the 9th picture), one crack on the wood right under the finial (the last picture), some minor old age cracks on the wood handle at the ends connecting to the silver, and some etched marks on the base. We do not clean or polish any antique pieces, please see pictures for detail and condition. We think this teapot is in beautiful condition for more than 220 years old.

    Description

    A simple yet elegant antique Georgian Robert Hennell London sterling silver teapot, with wood handle and finial, regal ribbed design on top and body, fully hallmarked, in great condition.
    On the cover, there is a lion mark; On the base: 5 marks: lion, George III, lion with crown, R.H and S (1793).
    Appox. 618 grams in total weight. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver.
    Appox. 7.4" tall with lid, 5.45" without lid; Inside, 4.9" at tallest; From the tip of the spout to the other end of the handle appox. 11.5" at longest; Base: 4.7" x 3.55".
