    Description

    Here is a very unique printers block. The block is hand carved out of wood with an advertisement for Thos Cunningham & co Lighthouse cigar New Haven Conn. The carving is extraordinary from the lettering to the filigree designs. I inked it and stamped a piece of paper to show the designs. The block is made of a very hard wood which was laminated together to prevent warping. This piece dates to the late 1800's . The condition is excellent. It measures 7" long x 7/8" x 7/8"
