    RARE  APRIL 1961 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS FOR TWA TERMINAL BUILDING AT THE NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT NOW KNOWN AS JFK AIRPORT FROM MODERNIST ARCHITECT EERO SAARINEN BIRMINGHAM MICHIGAN. I FOUND THIS ITEM ALONG WITH SEVERAL SIMILAR ITEMS AT A LOCAL STORAGE AUCTION HERE IN LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. EERO SAARINEN WAS THE SON OF THE LATE ART DECO ARCHITECT ELIEL SAARINEN. HE WAS A MODERNIST ARCHITECT AND WENT ON TO BECOME ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DESIGNERS OF THE 20th CENTURY. SOME OF HIS MOST NOTABLE STRUCTURES WERE: CBS BUILDING 1965 NEW YORK, LINCOLN CENTER 1965 NEW YORK,GENERAL MOTORS TECHNICAL CENTER WARREN  MICHIGAN 1956,KLEINHANS MUSIC HALL BUFFALO NEW YORK, TWA FLIGHT CENTER 1962 NEW YORK, WASHINGTON DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DULLES VIRGINIA 1962,BELL LABS HOLMDEL COMPLEX  1962 HOLMDEL NEW JERSEY, U.S. EMBASSY 1960 LONDON, MILLER HOUSE & GARDEN 1957 COLUMBUS INDIANA, YALE UNIVERSITY 1960, IBM RESEARCH CENTER LIBRARY 1959 ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS.
