Interesting letter from Short & Ward Mines, Mining, Mining Stocks Real Estate and Collections located in
Bouse, Arizona Territory
, La Paz County.
Bouse started as a mining camp in 1908.
Letter is to Prescott Arizona and he is buying lots in
Idylwild
(his spelling is wrong) which is the Phoenix Colony according to an ad I found.
It appears that even back in the early 1900’s rich people in Phoenix were buying properties in Prescott to get out of the summer heat.
One very strange question he has was to whether the lots were in the “United States”.
Letter is in very good condition..
