Presented is a fabulous Hirsh sterling silver 5 piece tea set. This set is made in the Victoria pattern, and dates to around the 1930s-1950s. This is a lovely pattern featuring classical scrolled foliate designs, beautifully hand chased around the sides and on the lids and feet. The individual pieces are clean as can be inside and out, ready for use or display.
Coffee--11 5/8 inches tall. Capacity of 7 cups (56 fluid ounces/1.65 liters).
Teapot--10 1/2 inches tall. Capacity of 6 cups (48 fluid ounces/1.4 liters).
Sugar--7 3/4 inches tall.
Creamer--6 3/8 inches tall.
Waste--5 inches tall.
This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each piece is stamped on the underside with the Hirsch maker's mark as well as sterling, the name of the pattern, Victoria, and 'Hand chased.'
The total weight for the set is 2829 grams or 99.8 regular ounces.
