This control unit contains the Low Oil Shut Off Indicator, Overload Indicator and Power Output Indicator LED's (located on the power panel).
When this part fails, your generator will not run.
This is a brand new replacement part. Fix it yourself and save.
Ignition Control Unit controls these functions:
RED Oil Warning Light – Check oil level when this light turns on. Engine will not run when indicator is lit.
YELLOW Overload Indicator Light – This light turns ON when the generator is overloaded and will cut power to the receptacles.
GREEN Output Light – Remains ON during normal operating conditions. Shuts OFF when generator is overloaded.
