Crude Dark Aqua Drum Ink Bottle. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I’m continuing sale of my ink collection, interrupted in 2018. Beginning with drum/cylinder inks, then on to house inks, english snap tops, miniatures, and eventually ink masters! The drum inks range in age from an early pontiled ink with fluid remaining to a WWI ‘slag glass’ english ink. (Last photo shows the full drum collection.)
This small hand-blown aqua/teal drum ink measures 1 ½” wide by 2 1/4” high with tooled lip. Bottom embossed with anchor figure. (Could be early Anchor Hocking bottle, but not likely as Anchor Hocking began in 1905 and ABM bottles began in 1906, and this is a hand-blown bottle.)  The lip is crudely and irregularly tooled. A little light whittle, and no scratches, cracks or chips.(See photos). No reserve and low initial bid. Good luck!
