This listing is for a lovely 4-piece Durgin-Gorham Sterling Silver coffee/tea service in the FAIRFAX pattern. No monograms. Each piece has an elongated octagonal shape with a stepped pedestal base.  Each piece is marked with the Durgin-Gorham trademark stamp and "Sterling, 04" with date code for 1929 and appropriate contents weight. Both the coffee pot and teapot have heat spacers on handle. The coffee pot is also marked "Fairfax".
Set consist of
:
(1)  Sterling Silver Coffee Pot - Measures 7" high (at handle), 9 7/8" wide (from spout to handle) and is 4" deep. Holds 2 3/4" pint.  Weighs 667 grams.
(2)  Sterling Silver Teapot - Measures 4 1/2" high (at handle), 9 1/2" wide (from spout to handle) and 4 1/2" deep. Weighs 558 grams.
(3)   Sterling Silver Creamer - Measures 3 1/2" high (at handle), 6 1/2" wide (spout to handle) and 3 1/4" deep.  Weighs 208 grams.
(4)  Sterling Silver Lidded Sugar - Measures 3 1/2" high (at handle), 7 3/4" wide (at handles) and 3 3 3/4" deep. Weighs 354 grams.
Combined weight of set is 1787 grams.
This set was purchased from a nice NC Estate and is in excellent Estate condition reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
