This auction is for a Frank M Whiting Company sterling coffee pot in pattern 706.  The pot is in overall good condition with the following three issues.  One issue is some scratching on the side of the pot (see attached picture).  The another issue is the foot of the pot was banged against maybe a counter to or something hard and the foot is fully round anymore.  The pot does rock a little bit from the damage but is still very usable and hard to see but I did include a picture.  Finally, the finial is a little bent.  Frank Whiting started making holloware sets from 1896 until the company was sold in the early 1940's.  The pot is marked on the bottom with the Frank M Whiting Company, the word sterling and pattern number 706, the whiting symbol (W), the volume of liquid it holds, 3 1/4 pints, and the number 10.  The handle and spout has some scroll work.  The pot looks clean inside (see picture), and I have polished the pot.  The pot is very beautiful and ready for entertaining.
