  • Condition: Beautiful piece in excellent condition. No monogram, only a few small dents around the base, completely hidden by the overall beauty of the piece. The bone pieces on the handle and the lid are unfortunately deeply cracked, but they are still securely fixed to the teapot, with no pieces threatening to separate. The rod for the hinge of the lid is beginning to jut out slightly (~4 mm) but the hinge is still securely fixed, with no looseness or wobbling of the lid.

    Description

    This is an absolutely stunning, one of a kind piece from Victorian London. The stamped marks on the bottom specify it as being created by George Fox in 1876, at the height of Queen Victoria's rule. It should go without saying, this piece would make an incredible addition to any collection. There is some damage to the handles, refer to the condition section above as well as the pictures for details.
