Gorgeous 19C American Sterling Silver Tea / Coffee Service by George Sharp. Hand chased silver repousse work allover with oriental influence as Chinese fisherman as finial and centering cartouche. The set consists of : Tea Pot, Coffee Pot, Creamer, Sugar Bowl and Waste Bowl. Very solid silver Weight - 4909 gm ( 157.8 toz ). Coffee pot 12 3/4" ( 32.3 cm ) height. Circa 1852 -1860's . Hallmarked on underside with Bailey & Co as retailer, lion mark for George Sharp, two added as indication of sterling silver. Condition very good.
