FROM THE FAMOUS  SAN FRANCISCO, CA AUCTION
FEATURES: A sterling silver paneled vase form lobed bodies, applied with reeded borders raised  on an oval pedestal base / feet,
hinged lids, urns finial.
Maker's mark of Gorham Manufacturing Co., Providence, Rhode Island, Numbers 2441/2442/2443/2444/2445, in the "Plymouth" pattern
All pieces stamped with GORHAM hallmark and Sterling  2441 to 2445  PLYMOUTH.
The Gorham marking was discontinued some time in 1933 and resumed again in 1941.
The square geometrical cartouche  indicates the 4th decade of manufacture, the number within indicates the year of the decade.
In our service: 5 or 6, so we know exact date of manufacture: year 1945 and  only waste bowl was produced in 1946..
Measurements & Weight Approximately (our jeweler's scale):
Tea Pot   - 20.21 oz troy or  628,60 gram   (12" wide x 7 1/4" high )
Coffee Pot  - 24.53 oz troy or  763.96 gram ( 10 3/4" wide x 9 1/2" high )

NONE OF THE PIECES HAVE EVER BEEN MONOGRAMMED...

THE ENTIRE SET IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR THE AGE,
TEA POT, COFFEE POT,  SUGAR WITH LID, WASTE BOWL AND CREAMER ARE FREE OF VISIBLE DENTS,
DINGS, BENDS OR REPAIRS,  ALL HANDLE ARE FIXED AND STABLE.
