    Description

    The EUX3 attaches to the cooling/combustion emissions vent on the upper rear of the EU3000is and EU30is (EU and AU).  The EUX3 includes the polycarbonate shroud with riveted on collar, five inch flexible and expandable aluminum tube, worm clamp, mounting screws for attachment to generator sound cover, and color illustrated install instructions.  The exhaust kit allows the directing of the exhaust out of a designated generator enclosure to prevent overheating and/or damage to the generator from recirculating of the heated cooling air and combustion emissions.  Not for use in or near living areas such as attached garages, RV compartments, crawlspaces etc. because of the danger of carbon dioxide emissions.  Only for use in outbuildings designated for generator installation only.  Please see our wall attachment 5GDV for the attachment of the five inch tube to the exterior wall of the generator enclosure.
