International ROYAL DANISH Sterling Silver 4-piece Tea Coffee Set (NOT TRAY)
Description
ROYAL DANISH pattern coffee/tea set by American maker International Silver. The pattern, designed by Alfred G. Kintz, was introduced by International in 1939. The pieces are all of sterling silver (not plate).
This sale is for the coffee pot, tea pot, lidded sugar and creamer only. The tray in the photos is for sale in a separate eBay listing.
Set includes:
Coffee Pot ~ Hinged lid, marked 9 cup C353. Height is about 9". Too big for jewelry scale. About 1 pound, 10 5/8 ounces on postage scale.
Tea Pot ~ Hinged lid, marked 9 cup C353. Height is about 7 5/8". Too big for jewelry scale. About 1 pound, 10 3/4 ounces on postage scale.
Creamer ~ about 8.985 troy ounces (done on small jewelry scale). Marked 13004
Lidded Sugar ~ about 10.93 troy ounces(done on small jewelry scale). Marked C353
MARKS: On bases as shown in photos below.
CONDITION: Pre-owned vintage set. I believe this set dates to the mid-1950s or possibly earlier. Overall, in very good condition with just minor signs of age/use. Slight flatness to the bottom lip of the coffee pot spout. Faint 'thump' impression on the sidewall of the tea pot. Miniscule dent on creamer (last photo).  I like the patina, but you might prefer to make it shinier by polishing it more. Any other signs of age/use will be minimal. Possibility of some light tarnish at the time of delivery.
