    Israel 1999 "Season's Greetings" Token
    "Twelve Tribes of Israel," Uncirculated
    The Israel Government Coins and Medals Corp. was established in 1958 by Prime Minister Ben Gurion for the purpose of commemorating the historical events and milestones of the State of Israel, as well as its outstanding personalities and achievements in culture, science and art. Until 2008, the Corporation was fully owned by the Government of Israel. During 2008, it was privatized.
    This is the 1999 Season's Greetings token, produced by the I.G.C.M.C. and sent to their customers. It commemorates the twelve tribes of Israel. The reverse side has a menorah on a shield in the center, with symbols of the tribes around it. The obverse has the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation logo in the center, with the date below it. and "I.G.C.M.C." below the date and near the border. Around the border of the obverse side is Hebrew lettering.
    The token is 27mm in diameter, and it is made of copper-nickel metal. The number of tokens made and issued is unknown.
    This token has been stored since it was received. It is, effectively, in new condition. Please see the photos.
