The 1980 series was issued to commemorate 32nd anniversary of the State of Israel, and the 25th anniversary of the Bank of Israel.
The series include seven 1980 5740 decorated Israeli coins 1,5, 10, 25 agorot, 1/2, 1 and 5 Lira with
the mint symbol "The Star of David".
At the side of the stamped value is the inscription "Bank of Israel, 25th Anniversary". All the coins are of pure nickel.
