Japanese five-piece .950 silver coffee and tea service with matching tray

A Japanese five-piece .950 silvercoffee and tea service, comprising coffee pot, tea pot, cream pitcher, sugarbowl with lid and tongs and tray. Never used as far as we know.
Setpurchased in Japan in 1952 or 53. As far as we know it was never used and is inoriginal box.
Traditionalsterling silver four piece tea and coffee service with tongs and is stamped "Sterling950”.
This is more pure than Americansterling silver which is 925/1000 pure.
Set includes a matching tray (see pictures)which is a 27” by 18” oval and only used to display set on buffet. THE SET ISIN EXCELLENT/NEW CONDITION. In original boxes.
Vintage 950 Silver Tea and Coffee set withcreamer and sugar bowl. COFFEE POT (28.8 ozt); TEA POT (25.3 ozt), CREAMER (8.4ozt), SUGAR with lid(11.9 ozt); SUGAR TONGS (1.6 ozt).
Coffee Pot is 8.75 inches tall x 10 in. spoutto handle with 3 in diameter opening; Tea pot is 7.5 in tall x 10.25 in. spoutto handle, with 3 in. diameter opening; Creamer is 4.5 in tall x 6.0 in spoutto handle, with 2 5/8 in diameter opening ; Sugar bowl
is 5.25 in tall x 7.0 in handle to handle with3 in diameter opening; Sugar Tongs are 5.0 in. long. All pieces are marked 950Sterling. Approx 76.0 ozt total.
