RARE JONES BALL & POOR COIN SILVER REPOUSSE COMPLETE TEA & COFFED SERVICE BOSTON CA. 1840.
JONES BALL & POOR PURE COIN SILVER COMPLETE TEA & COFFEE SERVICE WITH J.E. CALDWELL STERLING SILVER & MAHOGONY GALLERY TRAY, BOSTON Woodward and Grosjean Circa 1840 or so of museum quality, with absolutley amazing hand chasing that is crisp as if it were done yesterday with hallmarks as shown.
Examples of Woodward and Grosjean are found in the Museum of fine arts in Boston.
The complete service consists of : Tilting tea kettle on stand with burner 16 inches in height, teapot 9 inches in height , coffee pot 11 inches in height, covered sugar bowl 8 inches in height, cream jug 6 inches in height & waste bowl 4.5 inches in height  along with a very elegant sterling silver & mahogony bottom  pierced gallery tray with glass measuring 22 inches by 18 inches & 2 inches in height. The service weighs 185 troy ounces without the tray which can't be weighed as it has a mahogony bottom but must have at least  30 ounces or so of sterling  silver.
