LARGE VINTAGE PAPER COMPOSITION ELEPHANT

I purchased this elephant about 30 years ago from an estate sale. You can see in one picture the condition it was in as I began the restoration. It had been in our attic since the time of purchase until one of our grandchildren pushed me to restore it. It is extremely solid and well made of paper composition. our coats of clear shellac, and finished with a dull clear coating to provide a natural appearance.
I kept the original paint on the eyes, toes, nose, tail, and mouth to maintain the age identification and patina.
It actually looks much better then my pictures display.
It measures about four feet in length and 38 inches in height. Very, very, heavy construction and very durable.....not fragile at all. Quite heavy and stable as it stands. Purchaser will have delivery responsibly.
Ebay would not allow a pic of a piece of paper from the elephant that displayed the origin of where the elephant was made, because, it did not have enough pixels. However, with some help I found it was definitely made in Thailand.
