These plans are for our modern shed, which features oversized double doors and a covered outdoor storage area, and include everything required to build an inspired shed.
This shed was designed to be as simple and affordable as possible. Windows are simple panes of polycarbonate; walls, flooring, and roof sheathing are almost entirely uncut sheets of plywood, eliminating wasted materials and wasted time.
SIZE: 160 sq ft. Enclosed shed footprint is 8x20 ft. Roof is 14x30 ft. 112 sq ft covered area on the right provided by an 8 ft roof overhang.
COST: 00 USD. Material choices and local pricing will vary the total build cost.

–Sketchup is a program that allows you to construct in 3D, examine all the construction details, modify the design, hide layers, take measurements, and explore the build. If you intend to modify these plans it’s a fantastic tool to make those changes and to familiarize yourself with the construction process digitally before doing it for real. Sketchup is available as an always-free web app, so there is no added cost.
