You are bidding on a booklet showing a variety of plans for building log cabins. This was presented as a catalog of pre-fab cabins for prospective Norwegian cabin or cottage owners in the 1960's. The prospective buyer would choose and order the cabin of interest and set it up on his own land on a ready foundation. As far as we know the company, Sjøvegan Snekkerifabrikk og Materialhandel, is no longer in operation, but the plans are certainly doable by a handy builder. The original prices of prefabriated logs have been written in by a person from that era. It is shocking how prices have multiplied since that time.
All written information is in the Norwegian language, but the reader will have no trouble understanding the many drawings while measurements are in meters. These ideas could also be applied to miniature cabins for the skilled person.
