Up for your consideration a very nice 1970s Deacon mahogany body in very good condition. It is made from very high-quality mahogany and top notch body construction, as this was Ovation's top-of-the-line electric solid-body model. It comes with the strap buttons, cover plate inserts, and bridge inserts, and you will need the rest of the parts to put together a playable guitar. Please do your research, but this body had the standard 24-fret neck, and the 24 3/4" scale length, so I am thinking that any similar spec'd Ovation solid-body should have at least the correct neck and bridge that fits this body. I can tell you that the Preacher Deluxe cover plate fits this body perfectly, so you should be able to convert a Preacher Deluxe to a Deacon without needing to purchase too many additional parts. The body has not been routed, so the standard Ovation pickups should fit perfectly, and stock and custom reproduction pickguards are available for this guitar from 3rd party vendors. Again, please do your own research, as this is an As-Is, No-Return sale.
Condition wise, the body looks very clean with just a few minor scratches and dings. Here is a very rare opportunity to grab a very nice looking vintage 70s Deacon body -- which is perhaps the most coveted of all the vintage Ovation body shapes.
