RARE 1885 Heron / Stork California Gold Token / NGC AU HR8
Extremely rare variety of a popular California pictorial variety. In checking our records of the few Heron tokens sold, we have never handled one dated 1885. Most are 1881, 1882 or 1883. None of the grading companies show an 1885 certified other than this one. Very unusual reverse wreath additionally. So at the moment, this is Top Pop and the only one certified. If anyone else had one of these or even a photo of one, please forward for our reference.
