    Description

    Up for auction is a rare 1827 George IV London Hallmarked sterling silver repousse teapot.  The teapot is hallmarked  what I believe to be Thomas Dexter who was a London silversmith in 1827.  The teapot is in lovely as-found condition from a local estate and has never been offered for sale.  There is a small dent on the handle which can be seen in the photos and the handle is a bit loose. The total weight is approx. 29.7 oz. and 843 g. The teapot measures approx. 11' long and 6 1/2" high.  Please see photos as part of the description by using the zoom feature.  This item will be sold with signature confirmation and insurance as per e bay rules which will be reflected in the shipping.
