    Description

    Up for your consideration original and rare sterling silver square tray made by Currier & Roby (NY), featuring Chippendale pattern with pie crust rim. Very good condition, consistent with age and wear; no dants or other damage. Marked at the bottom as shown on the pictures which are part of the description.

    Currier & Roby was founded in New York City in 1900 by Ernest M. Currier and Harry E. Roby. Around the 1940s became a division of Elgin Silversmiths. Currier & Roby were well known makers of sterling holloware and flatware, specializing in antique reproductions.
