    This is a rarely found, 7 inch tall,

    pink tint, china
    shoulderhead doll by
    Ruth Gibbs
    , Flemington, N.J.,
    circa 1940s,
    and designed by
    Herbert Johnson
    . She is just so sweet, all original and in mint condition wearing her original
    green and yellow plaid, ruffled gown, yellow felt jacket, yellow net pantalettes and petticoat
    . She has a perfect
    cloth body with china limbs
    and wonderful painted
    mustard gold slippers.
    Her adorably molded features include dark blue painted eyes, long eyelashes, rosy cheeks, heart-shaped, painted open mouth and pretty, blond painted hair. Her
    original paper label reads
