For auction an Israeli coins, the
1992 IX Paralympic Games Barcelona
Proof Two New Shekelim coin, which was
issued by the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd. of
the State of Israel.  This proof coin was minted from silver, 0.925 purity.  The proof coin has a diameter of 38.7 mm and a weight of 28.8 grams.  The maximum mintage permitted was 3718 of the proof coin.
On one side is a depiction of the seven-branched candelabrum, the face value of the coin, two new Sheqalim, the
word "ISRAEL" in Hebrew, Arabic and English and the 1992/5752 mint year, and the
emblem of the
Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd. of
the State of Israel, a menorah and vines  The other side of each coin contains
a stylized star of David in the center, while on the right side of the star, three of its angles form the outline of a wheelchair athlete in a starting position.  Two angles on the left of the star form the outline of a stadium, and parallel lines on either side of the star symbolize strength and movement.  Around the borders is the inscription "THE IX PARALYMPIC GAMES BARCELONA '92" in English and in in Hebrew.
The coin is contained in a protective plastic disc inside of a cardboard holder, both of which are encapsulated in a square plastic box.  The coin is in the same condition as it was when shipped from the issuer, the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd.

, and placed in storage and have remained untouched since delivery.
