For auction is an Israeli coin, the
1991 Aliya B.U. Coin One
Shekel coin, which was
issued by the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd. of
the State of Israel.  The coin is minted from silver, 0.925 purity.  This prooflike BU coin has a diameter of 30 mm and a weight of 14.4 grams.  The maximum mintage permitted was 5508 BU coins.
On one side is the emblem of the
Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd. of
the State of Israel, a menorah and vines, the face value of the coin, one new Sheqal, the
word "ISRAEL" in Hebrew, Arabic and English and the 1991/5751 mint year.
The other side of each coin contains f
igures of immigrants descending from an airplane, around the border, the biblical quote "I WILL GATHER THEM OUT OF ALL COUNTRIES" and reference, "Jer, 32:37", in Hebrew and in English

The coin is contained in a protective plastic disc inside of a cardboard holder, both of which are encapsulated in a square plastic box.  The coin is in the same condition as it was when shipped from the issuer, the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd.
The coin was purchased by me directly from the
Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation Ltd.
, and placed in storage and has remained untouched since delivery.
