Description

Few fish are as charming and fascinating as the Seahorse. It is practically unique in that it is the male that carries the eggs (in a pouch) until they are ready to emerge as almost perfect miniature seahorses.
It is molded from Pellucida, a resin compound developed by the artist that resembles Bisque porcelain, but is more durable. It is then delicately airbrushed.
Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 7 inches tall.
