Model Details
Internal fibre channel tape drive for the CSM Series PetaSite tape libraries. These drives are based on helical scan recording tape technology, which is known for its high data density, outstanding data transfer performance as well as outstanding reliability and durability. The SAIT format introduces a tape based data storage technology platform that in its first generation will deliver the industry's highest capacity tape drive, storing up to 500GB of uncompressed data in a single, half-inch reel and features a sustained native transfer rate of 30MB/s uncompressed (78MB/s with compression). \
