Springford Porcelain Twin Boy/Girl Dolls

Description

According to the tags sewn into their outfits, these beautiful little dolls are twin boy and girl dolls manufactured by Springford; however, I am unsure of their age.
Going strictly by observation, they are approximately 10” tall.  They have porcelain heads, hands, and legs and bodies stuffed with synthetic fiber.
Their faces are hand painted.  The boy doll has brown hair and blue eyes; and green velvet pants/jacket/puffy hat with a beige shirt, white socks, black shoes, and a maroon neck scarf.
The girl doll has blonde pigtailed hair and blue eyes; and a maroon velvet skirt with matching puffy hat, with a beige/maroon turtleneck sweater, black pantaloons, stockings, and shoes.
Note:
The rubber bands that were originally holding her pigtails were so deteriorated that I replaced them with pieces of ribbon.
Their shoes appear to be leather (or pleather).
Looking at their bottoms, it appears they were constructed for sitting positions (see pictures).
Their bodies are in good condition, but the closure on their shoes have come loose.
